Who is the data controller

Which data we process
- Account: username, email address, password (stored only in hashed form, readable by no one), verification code sent by email at sign-up.
- Google sign-in (if you choose it): your Google account identifier, the email and the name Google shares with us. We never receive your Google password or your contacts.
- Profile: title, description, age, category (who you are and who you are looking for), city and region, photos and, if you fill them in, height, weight, body type, relationship status, what you are looking for and where you prefer to meet. Your phone number only if you add it, and it is shown only if you choose so.
- Location: to show you people nearby, your browser shares your device location, only with your permission. It is used to calculate distances and is not stored. Your profile keeps the position of the town you entered, not that of your device. You can hide your distance from your Profile.
- Right Now: the text, optional photo and location of your «Right Now» post, visible to signed-in users and deleted automatically after 60 minutes.
- Private album: the photos and videos in your album, visible only to people you share it with, until you revoke it.
- Favourites, saved phrases, tags: the people you star (nobody knows), your saved chat phrases, your profile tags.
- Profile views: when you open someone's profile we record that you viewed it (and when), for «Viewed me»; deleted after 30 days. In «Incognito» (Premium) nothing is recorded.
- Premium and payments: your Premium expiry date and your payments (date, amount, days). Card details are handled by the payment provider, not by us. Payments are kept for 10 years as required by accounting law, even after the account is deleted, without the link to the profile.
- Messages and interests: your chats with other users and the «I'm interested» you send and receive.
- Notifications (if you turn them on): the technical address of your device provided by your browser (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft), to send you alerts about new messages and «I'm interested». Alerts contain the username of who wrote to you, never the text. You can turn them off from your Profile.
- Blocks and reports: who you blocked, and the reports you make or receive (reason and text), for moderation.
- Technical data: IP address and time of requests in the server logs, «online» status, and whether the emails we send you are opened.
Special categories of data
Your profile category (for example, man looking for man) and the content you publish may reveal your sexual orientation and sex life, which the GDPR treats as special categories of data (art. 9). We process them only because you publish them, on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by creating the profile and can withdraw at any time by deleting it.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not carry out commercial profiling.
Who can see your data
- Other users only see what you publish in your profile and the messages you send them. Email and password are never visible.
- The site administrators, for moderation and support.
- The providers we need to run the site, appointed as processors: Hetzner Online GmbH (servers in Germany/Finland, EU), Microsoft (photo storage and email delivery, EU servers), Google (only if you use Google sign-in).
Data is stored in the European Union. If a provider processes it outside the EU, it does so with the safeguards required by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it

Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no profiling or third-party advertising cookies. It only uses browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and that you confirmed you are an adult: these are strictly necessary technical tools that need no consent.
Adults only
The site is for adults only. If we find a profile of a person under 18 we delete it immediately, together with their data.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent, without affecting what was done before. We reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: the controller's authority is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy); you can also contact the authority of the EU country where you live.
